EMC Tangerang Hospital and MNSBDI Hold Health Social Service at Vimalakirti Temple, Tangerang

Tangerang, April 20, 2025 – EMC Tangerang Hospital once again demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by successfully holding a Health Social Service in collaboration with the Indonesian Nichiren Shoshu Buddha Dharma Council (MNSBDI) – Tangerang Region. The event, held at the Vimalakirti Temple in Tangerang on Sunday, April 20, 2025, was greeted with great enthusiasm by more than 150 participants consisting of teenagers, parents, and seniors, from the City and Regency areas of Tangerang.

This activity focused on promotional and preventive health efforts, including free mini check-ups (blood pressure, uric acid, and random blood sugar) and in-person health consultations . The highlight of the event was a health talk titled "Learn the Secrets to Maintaining an Optimal Body" presented by Dr. Bung Malau, providing practical and easy-to-understand medical education for all participants.

Clara Pelita, MARS, FISQua, President Director of EMC Tangerang Hospital, stated that this collaboration with religious institutions is a dynamic step. She said:

"This collaboration with the Indonesian Nichiren Shoshu Buddha Dharma Council is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to not only focus on curative and rehabilitative services, but also strengthen the pillars of promotive and preventive services within the community."

The participants' enthusiasm was evident in their active participation throughout the entire series of activities. Ang Yansen Wiranata, the Chief Executive of MNSBDI – Tangerang Region, also expressed his appreciation for the success of the event. He said:
