EMC Sentul Hospital serves planned or emergency invasive surgical procedures 24 hours a day. There are 4 operating rooms at EMC Sentul Hospital with a team of experienced doctors and supported by sophisticated and up-to-date equipment to serve the needs of our patients.

Cath Lab

Cath Lab (catheterization laboratory) is a place to perform heart and blood vessel catheterization. Cardiac catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure by inserting a catheter through a blood vessel connected to the heart to see if there is any blockage in the heart's blood vessels. Cath lab actions are also performed to place stents/rings/rings in the heart arteries to overcome blockages that occur in the coronary arteries. Apart from performing cardiac catheterization, the Cath Lab can also be used for radiological interventions. Supported by a team of competent heart and blood vessel specialists and interventional radiology doctors, as well as very adequate Cath Lab facilities, EMC Sentul Hospital is ready to help patients in need.

Radiologi

The Radiology Department of EMC Sentul Hospital has complete sophisticated and modern examination facilities and is supported by experienced radiology doctors and radiographers, making this hospital a pioneer in various radiological examinations and fully committed to providing high standard radiological examination services.

The correct supporting diagnosis will make a major contribution to the success of the therapy and treatment plan for each patient, therefore the radiology department of EMC Sentul Hospital is equipped with various modalities, including:

1. Magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI ) 1.5 Tesla
   Supports the conduct of MRI of the head (including MR Angiography/Venography and spectroscopy), MRI of the abdomen (including hepatobiliary and pancreas/MRCP, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, pelvic and prostate), MRI Musculoskeletal and Spinal (spine).

2. Multi Slice Computed Tomography ( MSCT ) Scan 128 Slices
   Supports the conduct of high-resolution examinations on MSCT-Scan of the head, maxillofacial (paranasal sinuses and 3D facial reconstruction in trauma cases), neck MSCT, thoracic MSCT, abdominal MSCT (including multiphase liver, gastrointestinal, genitourinary), as well as musculoskeletal, spinal and Angiography MSCT /venography.

3. Ultrasonography (USG)
   Supporting Doppler/non-Doppler ultrasound examination of abdomen, thyroid and neck, musculoskeletal and joint ultrasound, ultrasound of blood vessels (carotid and peripheral vascular).

4. Computed Radiography (CR X-Ray)
   Supports X-Ray examination to get a picture of our body, is a standard radiological examination of the bones/skeletal, lung and abdomen.

5. Fluoroscopy
   A special type of X-Ray examination that can provide an X-ray image of the body in real time so that the radiologist can see the movement of the body's organs (swallowing and emptying of the digestive tract) as well as with a contrast medium to see the condition of the digestive tract, urinary tract and genitalia.

6. Panoramic & Dental X-Ray
   Provides an overview of the condition of the teeth and bones of the oral cavity.

Endoskopi

Endoscopy is a medical procedure to view the inside of the body by inserting a flexible tube/flexible endoscope which is equipped with a very small "chip" at the end of the tube. This procedure is a non-surgical procedure and is relatively safe and very useful for specialists in helping to make a more accurate and reliable diagnosis. Supported by senior specialist doctors, certified and experienced endoscopists at EMC Sentul Hospital, a series of preparations will be made to make the patient feel comfortable and pain-free while undergoing endoscopy. Apart from being diagnostic, endoscopy is also used by experts for several therapies in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, airways and others. With no endoscope incisions it has advantages and after endoscopy the patient can go home without hospitalization.
