EMC Cibitung Hospital Holds Hernia Surgery Social Service, Showing Its Concern for Communities in Need

As a concrete demonstration of its commitment to public health, EMC Cibitung Hospital once again held a Hernia Surgery Social Service event in collaboration with the Karya Alpha Omega Foundation (YKAO). The three-day event, from October 25-27, 2025, drew 36 participants from across West Java.

Participants in this community service program come from diverse backgrounds—from children to adults, with professions including farmers and day laborers. Through this activity, EMC Cibitung Hospital seeks to assist people in need of hernia surgery but who have limited access to healthcare facilities or funds.

The collaboration between EMC Cibitung Hospital and YKAO has become a regular agenda held 3 to 4 times a year, as part of the ongoing commitment to providing social benefits in the health sector.

The implementation of the activity involved various parties, including doctors, nurses, midwives, administrative staff, the ARSA team, doctors from outside EMC Cibitung Hospital, as well as YKAO representatives and community cadres.

EMC Cibitung Hospital hopes that social service activities like this can continue to be carried out sustainably, becoming a bridge for people in need, while also strengthening the hospital's role in building a healthier Indonesia.
