EMC Pekayon Hospital Helps Risky-Workers covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) Facilities

There are as many as 500 online motorcycle taxi drivers in Bekasi city who have received the CSR funds channeled through BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) premium financing. Funding by the company for all non-formal workers with planned for up to a year.

Dedy Nugroho on the sidelines of the Ceremony of Handing Over the CSR funds from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) to all the risky-Workers at BPU and "Pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar(BHD)", to journalists, on Tuesday (29/3/2022).

Director of EMC Pekayon Hospital- dr. Dedy Nugroho confirm to take the lead on BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) fee for the online motorcycle taxi drivers, this is a form of the company's concern for non-formal workers who have a high risk of being on the road when carrying out their duties.

"Organizations must contribute to society and be present for the community," he said.

He said the facilities provided to beneficiaries were VIP services.

In addition to online motorcycle taxis driver, EMC Pekayon Hospital also plans to fund the athlete BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) fee. According to him, athletes who compete to make the name of the region and the nation proud are considered vulnerable to injury.

The Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) for the Bekasi City Branch, Herry Subroto appreciated the steps taken by the EMC Pekayon Hospital in channeling CSR funds for vulnerable and risky workers through funding the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) contributions.

"This is the first time in Bekasi City, which has started protecting vulnerable and risky workers. We support it, we really appreciate it," said Herry at the location.

He said, not many online motorcycle taxi drivers have registered as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security Agency) participants. Therefore, he hopes that the steps taken by the EMC Pekayon Hospital will be followed by other hospitals.
