Lordosis is a condition in which the lower spine curves excessively inward. This disorder puts excessive pressure on the spine, causing pain and discomfort. Some of the symptoms that are felt are usually: limited movement in the neck or lower back area; buttocks that look more prominent; body that feels weak; tingling; numb; difficulty controlling urination and defecation. Conditions that can trigger lordosis include: obesity, osteoporosis, pregnancy, spondylolisthesis, and poor posture.
