Know the Causes of Hemorrhoids!

Pain, a sensitive lump in the anal area, itching, and the appearance of fresh blood dripping from the anus during bowel movements are some of the symptoms felt by hemorrhoid sufferers. Of course this makes hemorrhoid sufferers uncomfortable with their daily activities. Hemorrhoid disease itself is a disorder of hemorrhoids which are the cushioning tissue at the anus which contains blood vessels and normal smooth muscles.

Hemorrhoids Causes and Stages

As far as we know, hemorrhoids are caused by straining or straining for too long during bowel movements. However, hemorrhoids can occur due to several causes which eventually become complex.

Among them, problems with diet and lifestyle, lack of exercise, and procrastinating during defecation. In addition, hemorrhoids can also be caused by other diseases, such as colon tumors. This condition makes the patient continue to push until it causes interference with the hemorrhoidal tissue.

Hemorrhoids are divided into two, namely the external and internal. Internal hemorrhoids are divided into four stages or grades, namely:

  • Grade one is a condition where the tissue is swollen but has not prolapsed or prolapsed from the anus
  • The second grade is swollen and comes out, but after defecation the tissue will enter on its own
  • The third grade is swollen, has come out, and must be pushed to get back in
  • Fourth grade , the condition is already severe because it is blackened, painful, and can't go back even though it has to be pushed

Prevent hemorrhoids early by:

  1. Drink lots of water
Drinking water can help soften the stool and promote bowel movements
  1. Consumption of fibrous foods and drinks
Vegetables, fruit, grains and nuts which can help smooth bowel movements
  1. Avoid delaying defecation
The longer defecation is delayed, the greater the absorption of water by the intestines, resulting in hard and dry stools making it difficult to defecate.
  1. Exercise regularly
Exercising can help prevent constipation, lower blood pressure, and lose weight.
  1. Avoid sitting too long
Long sitting habits can increase pressure on the veins in the anus.
  1. Keep the anal area clean
To keep clean and dry, especially after urinating or defecating.

If you experience hemorrhoids that don't get better, immediately consult a doctor or the nearest hospital for proper examination and treatment.
