Safe Food Preparation :

  3. Cook meat, fish and eggs until cooked.
  4. Wash vegetables, cook for a while and eat immediately to maintain their nutrition.
  5. Wash raw fruits and vegetables before eating.
  6. Wash hands with soap before preparing food and after going to the toilet and cleaning up baby waste.

Other important tips:

  • Get plenty of rest during the first 3 months of pregnancy and the first month after giving birth.
  • To prevent the disturbance of mosquitoes and insects, it is better to use a mosquito net when sleeping.
  • Take deworming medication to treat intestinal worms and prevent anemia.
  • Don't drink alcohol, do drugs or smoke.

  • During pregnancy and breastfeeding, mothers need to increase the amount of food consumed.
  • Get plenty of rest during the first 3 months of pregnancy and the first month after giving birth.
  • Mothers must consume nutritious foods that are available, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and nuts, so that mothers become healthy and babies grow optimally.
  • Reduce drinking tea and coffee during pregnancy. Tea or coffee while eating can affect the absorption of food. Especially iron in the mother's body.
  • Don't drink alcohol, do drugs or smoke.
  • Take iron folate tablets or MMN multivitamin tablets to prevent anemia during pregnancy and for at least 3 months after delivery.
  • Had ANC/pregnancy visits at least 4 times during pregnancy. This visit is very important for the mother to find out the health condition of the mother and the development of the fetus she contains.
  • To prevent the disturbance of mosquitoes and insects, use mosquito nets when sleeping.
