As we know, the kidneys in every human body function to remove metabolic waste and excess fluids. Because metabolic waste products that come from the food and drinks we consume, will become poison if not removed.

In patients with severe fluid deficiency, there will be a decrease in blood flow to the kidneys. This causes the kidneys to not be optimal in filtering and removing kidney toxins so that eventually there is an increase in urea and creatinine, then the doctor decides to have dialysis.
Dialysis is a treatment to replace kidney function to clean toxins in the blood. In medical language, dialysis is called Hemodialysis (HD) which is the process of filtering or cleaning blood through a device, and then the filtered blood is returned to the body. The dialysis process lasts about 4 hours.
Many people think dialysis is a scary thing. Every doctor at the hospital must have considered every patient who will do dialysis. There are those who need dialysis for the rest of their lives, but there are also those who are only temporary until the kidneys function again as they should.
