The Importance of Circumcision as a Child

Often a question for ordinary people about the importance of circumcision, circumcision (circumcision) itself is the process of removing the foreskin or skin that covers the tip of the penis. Not only intended for children or adults, circumcision can also be performed on infants.

  1. Reducing the risk of urinary tract infections
Although the risk of urinary tract infections is low in both boys and men, infections can still occur and are more common in those who have not been circumcised.

In some cases, the foreskin on an uncircumcised penis is often difficult or even impossible to retract, this condition is known as phimosis. Circumcision is useful for preventing phimosis, especially in infants.
